About Ride The Fader Productions

Ride The Fader Productions is the independent music education business, private teaching practice and creative outlet of Charlotte-Catherine Hope-Rivers Cert. Cert. Dip. BA (Hons). MMus.

Ride The Fader Productions is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office to act as a controller of your personal information in full compliance with current EU General Data Processing Regulations. Charlotte-Catherine Hope-Rivers catherine@ridethefaderproductions.com is the “controller” of your data.

This privacy notice explains how Ride The Fader Productions lawfully uses your information and outlines your legal rights.

How your information is collected

Ride The Fader Production Music Registration Forms collect your name, date of birth, contact details, details of your music education and includes a space for you to share relevant details of medical conditions or special educational needs should you feel it is helpful to do so.

Ride The Fader Productions music students are asked to indicate availability to enable the scheduling of lessons. For students up to the age of 18, daytime school and parental contact information are also requested.

This information is supplemented as necessary by written communications (including via electronic means), financial interacts, note taking, event information, progress reports, recordings and feedback from third-parties (for example, comment sheets from exams, rehearsals or performances).

Ride The Fader Productions collects information through any other interaction where there is a legitimate interest, whether with students, parents, enquirers, colleagues, service providers, or in any other capacity.

Every reasonable effort is made to ensure that information processed by Ride The Fader Productions, either in physical or electronic form, is safe and secure at all times.

How your information is used

Unless otherwise agreed, Ride The Fader Productions only processes personal information in connection with its legal obligations and legitimate interests as a music education provider. This includes using information for:

Ride The Fader Productions owns one website: www.ridethefaderproductions.com which has associated social media accounts.

In each case, services collect anonymous information about users’ activity on the sites, for example the number of users viewing each page. This is to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the sites and help Ride The Fader Productions improve them. No other use is made of this information by Ride The Fader Productions.

If you wish to interact with Ride The Fader Productions’ sites, social media or receive email notifications of updates, you will need to register some details first. Each of these platforms have their own Privacy Notices and data policies which you are advised to consult.
